Visit Argentina for a day

The river Uruguay draws the border between Salto and Concordia (Argentina).

Take the charming ferry and cross the border in just a few minutes.

Unwind and relax at the thermal baths at the Club Remeros, where you'll meet the wealthy locals, or

just next to our Estancia you'll reach the Termas de San Nicanor thermal baths. Enjoy the hot water at 40°C / 104°F.

Discover the world of the Gauchos

At our Estancia Don Pipo we provide you a wonderful opportunity to dive into the life of a Gaucho. You can enjoy the rural wilderness, discover the Uruguayan countryside during a horse ride and then enjoy a delicious ASADO (Uruguayan BBQ) by the open air fire.

There are many tours offered such as Birdwatching, Paragliding, Rides to the Wineries, Visits to the Chapel of Padre Pio, trips to the impressive Water Dam of Salto Grande,  or you can follow the traces of two most famous Uruguayan writers, Horacio Quiroga and Enrique Amorim who at some point lived in Salto. All these tours can be arranged for you via the local tourism agency through our staff or you can contact the local agency directly at www.turismoensalto.com. (only in Spanish but soon in English too).
